Sir James Paul McCartney CH MBE, born 18 June 1942, is an English singer-songwriter and musician who gained worldwide fame with the Beatles.

1970s

After the Beatles broke up in 1970, McCartney launched a successful solo career. He released his debut solo album, "McCartney," in 1970, followed by "Ram" in 1971 and "Band on the Run" in 1973. During this decade, he also formed the band Wings with his wife, Linda.

1980s

In the 1980s, McCartney continued to release successful solo albums, including "Tug of War" in 1982, "Pipes of Peace" in 1983, and "Flowers in the Dirt" in 1989. He also collaborated with Michael Jackson on the hit single "Say Say Say" in 1983.

1990s

In the 1990s, McCartney released several more solo albums, including "Off the Ground" in 1993, "Flaming Pie" in 1997, and "Run Devil Run" in 1999. He also toured extensively during this decade.

2000s

In the 2000s, McCartney continued to release new music, including the albums "Driving Rain" in 2001, "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard" in 2005, and "Memory Almost Full" in 2007. He also collaborated with Kanye West on the hit single "FourFiveSeconds" in 2015.
